We are pleased to introduce two additional new fan series: the CH-BOX HT (F400) and the AC-BOX.
1) The CH-BOX HT units are:
- Direct-drive centrifugal box fans featuring backward-curved impellers, designed for continuous operation while handling high-temperature air (up to 120°C).
- Certified according to EN 12101-3 for smoke extraction during a fire at 400°C for a duration of 2 hours.
- This high-temperature capability is achieved not only through the specific design and construction of the components but also by the clear separation between the motor compartment and the fan compartment.
Furthermore, this series is characterized by:
- Low noise levels, thanks to the double-panel construction of the impeller-side compartment.
- High-efficiency, IP55-rated electric motors.
- A wide model range capable of achieving higher airflows and pressures than traditional direct-drive double-inlet fans.
- Easy access to the impeller for cleaning; the backward-curved design makes it far less prone to residue buildup compared to standard forward-curved impellers.
This new series expands and further enriches our range of EN 12101-3 certified fire smoke extraction fans.
2) The AC-BOX units are centrifugal box fans in which a standard asynchronous AC motor is directly coupled to a centrifugal impeller with backward-curved blades. This series, comprising 8 sizes with impeller diameters ranging from 350 to 710 mm, is characterized by:
- versatility of use, allowing the discharge airflow to be directed either along the same axis as the intake or perpendicular to it, simply by repositioning the casing panels;
- exceptional aerodynamic performance and efficiency, thanks to highly contoured inlet nozzles and minimal clearance between them and the high-performance, next-generation fans;
- excellent quiet operation, due to the plenum being lined with sound-absorbing material;
- electric motors that outperform those typically found in standard direct-drive double-inlet fans; specifically, they are high-efficiency units with an IP55 rating (meaning they are fully enclosed).
